A substantial solar array and on‑site well supply much of the home’s energy and water needs, complementing its super‑energy‑efficient envelope. At the heart of the living space sits a Finnish Tulikivi soapstone oven that provides steady radiant heat and also serves as a wood‑fired pizza oven, adding both practicality and a ritual focal point for the owners.
