Our pricing strategy is simple. We're with you every step of the way.

What you need to know:

If you have done any research into other prefab home building companies, you may have experienced difficulty evaluating which services they provide, what exactly is included in their prices and which areas of the project you will be responsible for completing with separate contractors.

With evoDOMUS, the simple answer is that we deliver and assemble the modules and your local general contractor takes it from there. However, the longer answer is that our homes are individually created and highly customized, so how much we are able to do in the factory will depend on the design of the home. For example, if your kitchen is contained within one module, it is possible that we can install it in the factory, but if it spans two modules, it must be installed on-site. We can usually lay tile on the bathroom floors, since they are smaller rooms and self-contained, but larger expanses of flooring throughout the home are normally installed after the modules are delivered, so that there are no seams between them. Regardless of the specifics of your project, we draw up a detailed document for you and the local contractor so that the division of labor and cost is very clear. We want everyone associated with the build to understand what they will be responsible for at the outset so that things go as smoothly as possible.

The cost of an evoDOMUS home depends on the size, complexity of the design and specifications, since we do not sell plans off the shelf. Typically, the finished costs, with the local contractor’s charges factored in, range from $425-$550 per square foot. Having said that, costs for some of the more luxurious designs with extensive amounts of glass, complex structures, or expensive fixtures can be significantly higher. The location of the building site also affects the total cost. Some high labor rate areas such as the Hamptons, the Colorado mountains or Island locations will increase the price. We have seen project budgets north of $700/sq.ft in those areas.

We are producing our modules in Western Pennsylvania, so shipping distance is a consideration we have to look into when it comes to the feasibility of a project.

We do not include the costs for permits, third party engineering, such as land surveying, civil engineering and geotechnical engineering in our pricing.  These are client responsibilities.
